About Us
The Gensan Visitor Information Center is the first of its kind in the city that provide a venue for visitors to learn more about Gensan, get brochures/maps, consult on important information like where to stay, eat and what to do, watch videos and many more.
An important feature will be the display of artworks and handy crafts of various Gensan communities and will be available for visitors if they wish to help these communities. |
The Gensan Visitor Information Center (GVIC) will be created as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of businessman Wilfredo ‘Bing’ Royeca and wife Armie Royeca who owns Rolee Bakeshop and Hotel San Marco. It is their way of giving back to General Santos City and help to boost the local tourism industry.
Through the Gensan Visitor Information Center, both visitors and locals can learn more about the history of the city and what it offers. In turn, the locals can invite their friends and family members to visit GenSan. The proceeds from the artworks/handycrafts available in the center will help coastal/less advantage communities in the city. The center will also educate the locals, especially the young ones, about sustainability. So that future generations will also have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of General Santos City and its environs! |
